ISPL 2022- Friendly Soft Ball Cricket Tournament

ISPL (Information Systems Premier Legue) 2022, friendly cricket tournament was organized by the Department of Information systems of the Faculty of Management Studies, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka for the first time. ISPL teams which consists of Students, Lecturers and Non- academic personnel from the Department of Information Systems. The main objective of this event was to improve the organizing skills among the undergraduates, further, strengthen the bond between lecturers and undergraduates in Department.

The tournament was held on 31^st of October 2022 at the university playground.  A total of four teams, namely Creepers, Predators, Scorpions and Trojans participated in this tournament. The Trojans team emerged champions of the ISPL 2022 and the scorpion’s emerged runner-up. M.V.S. Subashana Was the best player of the tournament. The trophies and prizes were presented to the players by the Mr. PG Munasinghe Head of the department of information systems.

Professor PMB Jayathilake, Dean of the faculty of Management Studies, Mr. P.G Munasinghe Head of the Department of Information Systems, academic Staff members of the Department of Information Systems, non- academic staff members and the student of the 2018 batch Department of Information Systems were participated in this special event.
